New York: What to eat

It’s easy to find recommendations of restaurants and cafés in New York, but if you haven’t been there before it’s not that easy to know what to eat. I’ve made a list:

Bagels (one cream cheese bagel, please!)
Frozen Yoghurt (16 Handles is the place to go)
Pastrami on Rye (for every meat-lover)
Doughnut (you can’t be in the US without having at least one)
Gyro from a food truck (they’re actually really good)
Pretzel (with salt!!)
Cookie dough (from DŌ Cookie Dough Confections)
Artichoke pizza (from Artichoke Basille’s Pizza)
Cheese cake (preferably NY-style or salted caramel and pecan)
Cronut (Dominique Ansel Bakery – be prepared for a mile long queue)
Mexican style corn (from Café Habana – the flavor is unique)

New York is food heaven, and the list could go on forever. You can find good restaurants and food on every corner. If you are going, please do me a small favor: Do research of good places to eat so you don’t end up eating dinner at Fridays… Then you would miss out SO MUCH.
